COVE Welcomes TKMS Selection to Supply the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP)
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia – 7 July 2026 – COVE is pleased to congratulate TKMS on being selected as the successful bidder to supply a fleet of submarines for Canada. This announcement marks a significant milestone in strengthening Canada’s maritime defence capabilities, enabling new commercialization opportunities and connecting Canadian innovators to global supply chains.
COVE is committed to supporting TKMS and the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as a commercialization and integration partner within the Canadian Defence and Dual-Use Innovation Ecosystem (CDDE), advancing key innovation priorities into deployable sovereign capabilities.
Through mission-aligned programs and early end-user engagement, COVE will extend its platform to identify and accelerate high-potential startups and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This includes ensuring market fit, enabling secure testing and validation, advancing certification and export readiness, and establishing procurement pathways.
Beyond commercialization, COVE helps connect innovators, primes, the RCN, investors, researchers, government stakeholders, Indigenous partners, and international allies into a cohesive and execution-focused pan-Canadian innovation hub.
