Dress
Casual / business attire. This is an outdoor event, so guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for the weather.
Complimentary Vessel Transportation & Closing Harbour Reception
COVE is pleased to offer complimentary round-trip vessel transportation for registered guests between downtown Halifax and COVE.
Guests will travel aboard the Halifax Harbour Queen, with the return trip featuring a 60-minute closing reception and tour of Halifax Harbour.
Continue conversations from the day while taking in the harbour. Each registered guest will receive two complimentary drink tickets during the reception.

Departure to COVE
- Please arrive at The Cable Wharf (1751 Lower Water St., Halifax) at 9:00 AM for a 9:15 AM departure
Return & Harbour Reception
- Departs COVE at 3:30 PM
Includes a 60-minute harbour tour and reception.
- Arrives at The Cable Wharf at 4:30 PM
Important
- Each guest must register individually in advance to secure a seat
- Space is limited; pre-registration is required
- If capacity is reached or you miss departure, guests are responsible for alternate transportation
Alternative transportation
For a scenic and convenient alternative, consider taking the Alderney Ferry to COVE. The ferry departs from the Halifax Ferry Terminal every 10–15 minutes and arrives at the Alderney Ferry Terminal in Dartmouth. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk along a well-maintained waterfront path to COVE. The total travel time is approximately 40 minutes, and the ferry fare is $3 CAD (cash) each way. If you are travelling by car, limited free on-site parking is available for guests. We encourage carpooling whenever possible.
