MTS Buoy Workshop

The 16th Buoy Workshop, organized by the Marine Technology Society (MTS), is a premier biennial event for professionals in buoy technology and its applications across oceanographic, weather, and other marine systems. Since 1996, the Workshop has brought together engineers, designers, operators, and scientists from around the world to share knowledge, showcase innovations, and collaborate on solutions for the marine sector.
Taking place March 23–26, 2026, the event features pre-workshop seminars, technical presentations, keynote sessions, panel discussions, facility tours, and networking opportunities. It provides a platform to explore the latest advancements in buoy and mooring systems, supporting ocean observation, engineering innovation, and data-driven insights for the global marine community.
