The role involves improving efficiency and consistency of biorefinery workflows at lab and pilot-production scales, collecting and analyzing process performance data, and supporting plant-based assay testing to evaluate biological interactions and product performance. The intern will help document changes and scale-up learnings, prepare comparative technical summaries, and contribute to process improvements that support commercialization. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program, have foundational knowledge of biological systems or bioprocessing, laboratory experience, and strong organizational and communication skills, with an interest in sustainability and applied biological research.

The intern will maintain detailed documentation and SOP updates while collaborating with a multidisciplinary R&D team in a fast-growing startup environment.
