Hawboldt, a custom designer and builder of marine lifting equipment for ocean research, offshore energy, defense, and commercial marine industries, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to support the design of a new product under the guidance of the Lead Innovation Engineer. As Junior Innovation Engineer, the role involves assisting with product design, researching and implementing AI-driven improvements to engineering processes, and working in both office and factory settings. Candidates should have a strong understanding of machinery, CAD or 3D modeling experience, strong mathematical and technical writing skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
