Back by popular demand, COVE, in collaboration with the Belgium-based non-profit OffshoreWind4Kids and sponsored by the RBC Foundation and the Government of Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources and Energy, presents a hands-on educational event about offshore wind. Offshore Wind 4 Kids is a free-of-charge interactive event for families to learn about offshore wind and renewable energy. Kids will get to build mini turbines and test them on the water, enhancing their engineering and teamwork skills.
Families may attend one of two different one-hour sessions:
· 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
· 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
