What can I expect for the day?

You can expect to be on site at COVE for our event from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. You will have access to 50+ companies on-site who will be demonstrating their latest and greatest marine technology innovations. There will be on-water demonstrations you will be able to witness (big and small), along with tabletop demonstrations in our tents, at our Bays, and throughout the site. There will also be indoor AV-style presentations from select companies. There are designated seating areas for additional networking. Upon arrival, guests will be treated to coffee and light snacks, and a buffet lunch will be served at noon.

What should I bring?

This event is outdoors, so please dress for the weather, and wear comfy shoes.

Do I need to bring a ticket?

Yes. If you purchased your ticket through our Demo Day Eventbrite page, please have your virtual or printed ticket ready to scan at the Information Desk.

Will food be served?

Yes, a buffet lunch is available for our registered guests, along with coffee, tea, and light snacks in the morning. Water bottles will be available as well.

Will alcohol be served?

Alcohol will not be served during the Demo Day programming from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. However, our on-water Closing Reception, which takes place during the vessel transportation on the ride back to Halifax after Demo Day, from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, will have a cash bar available. Attendance to the Closing Reception requires pre-registration (more details to follow).

Will we be able to have meetings?

We will not have a dedicated space assigned for B2B meetings during Demo Day at COVE, we encourage networking and business discussions to occur during the different event spaces found on site that day.
