NATO DIANA Accelerator

Advance Dual-Use Innovation with COVE and DIANA

As an official accelerator site for NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), COVE supports companies developing dual-use technologies, with both civilian and military applications. The program provides access to advanced facilities, expert guidance, and international defence networks to accelerate deployment and enhance readiness.

Participants engage with NATO’s transatlantic network, leveraging COVE’s infrastructure, expertise, and strategic partnerships. The program supports companies innovating in dual-use technologies, autonomous platforms, sensors, robotics and drones, and the design and manufacture of equipment. Through workshops, mentoring, and collaboration, companies can scale innovation, align with defence priorities, and make a meaningful impact on global security.

Innovate UK: Global Incubator Programme

Expand Your Global Reach with COVE and Innovate UK

COVE is proud to host the Innovate UK Global Incubator Programme, offering UK-based marine technology companies a six-month market expansion experience in Canada. The program provides an immersive opportunity to explore one of the world’s most dynamic technology ecosystems, gain market insights, and accelerate international growth.

Participants engage with Canada’s marine technology sector, leveraging COVE’s infrastructure, expertise, and commercial networks. The program supports companies innovating in alternative energy, aquaculture systems, autonomous vessels, ocean sensors, robotics and drones, and the design and manufacture of vessels. Through workshops, mentoring, and hands-on collaboration, companies can scale globally, develop strategic partnerships, and make a meaningful impact across the marine economy.

COVE is expanding its programs and looking for experienced mentors to support innovative companies. We are inviting entrepreneurs, business leaders, defence and security professionals, climate and renewable energy experts, investors, advisors, ecosystem builders, and technical specialists in emerging technologies—AI, energy, autonomy, sensors, materials, maritime, and more—to guide innovators and shape the next wave of high-impact solutions. As a mentor, you will connect with program participants, expand your network, and collaborate across allied innovation ecosystems.
