See the ocean differently with COVE’s Summer Internship Program. From engineering to finance, computer science, business management, marketing and communications, companies in Nova Scotia are seeking students for exciting and lucrative career opportunities in the marine technology sector.
Our 16-week internship program is for post-secondary students in Nova Scotia from all disciplines (i.e. Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing and Communications, etc.).
As a participant, you will:
- Receive 16-week full-time paid ($21/hour) employment from May to August
- Be involved in a project-based learning opportunity with a host company in Nova Scotia
- Have access to Professional Development sessions
- Gain mentoring from industry professionals
- Receive exclusive invitations to industry networking events and opportunities
To be enrolled in the program, you must be:
- Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program during the summer internship
- A collaborative self-starter and open to learning
- Based on the required skillsets, placements are typically geared towards second-year students and above

- January 31, 2024 – Deadline for intern applications
- May 6 to August 23, 2024 – Internship timeframe
