A three-day forum is underway in Halifax as nearly 50 ambassadors and dignitaries from around the globe take part in an economic forum.
According to the province, the assembly is “one of the largest ever organized in Canada, to Nova Scotia, arranged by the Office of Protocol under Global Affairs Canada.”
The diplomats arrived on Wednesday and were welcomed to Province House, ushering in the forum with a roundtable discussion.
At the meeting, ministers and deputy ministers presented on government priorities in key sectors including energy, critical minerals, defence, technology, fisheries, agriculture, housing and labour market opportunities.
