This is your chance to apply your knowledge\, showcase your innovation\, and represent your institution on a national stage. \n\nAbout the Challenge:\nDuring the 2026 challenge\, participants will design and build the best floating support structure for a Vevor 500W turbine. This challenge promotes innovation and practical application of renewable energy concepts. \n\nWho Can Attend:\nThis session is open to all post-secondary students (18 years and older) currently enrolled in any Canadian academic institution\, including those in undergraduate\, master’s\, and diploma programs. \n\nWhat to Expect:\n\nOverview of the challenge objectives and requirements.\nDetails on COVE’s collaboration with OffshoreWind4Kids\, RBC Foundation\, and the Nova Scotia Departments of Natural Resources and Energy.\nInformation on the competition date (tentatively scheduled for February 21\, 2026) at RelyOn Nutec Canada.\nDetails on the opportunity for the winning team to compete internationally.\n\n\nImportant Information:\n\nAll participants must be part of a team (3-10 people).
