October 28, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

WiE Mental Health Stressors & Supports for Women in Engineering

On Thursday, October 28th at 7:00 – 8:30 pm ADT, the Dalhousie Women in Engineering Society is hosting its second annual panel event discussing Mental Health Stressors & Supports for Women in Engineering, featuring a current student, an Engineer in Training, and Professional Engineer

In this one of a kind virtual event you will hear from three incredible women in engineering: Melanie Nadeau PEng., is a phenomenal leader in the field of engineering and the CEO of COVE, Laura Flick, EIT, is an outstanding voice for mental health advocacy, and Rowan Natasha Pratt is a Dalhousie Engineering student and the president of mental health organization Jack.Org. In this moderated panel discussion, we hope the open and meaningful conversation around the mental health impacts we face as engineers will help to help break the stigma and make a meaningful difference.
